About Walsall Lifelong Learning Alliance
Walsall Lifelong Learning Alliance (WLLA) is the local Learning Partnership for Walsall and is made up of represenatation from public authorities, education and training providers, private sector employers, and the local voluntary and community sector.
The independence of WLLA as a Learning Partnership is fundamental to its ability to act as an effective broker of partnership.
WLLA has, since 2006, been responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the Walsall 'Increasing Skills Project' as part of the Walsall Local Area Agreement (LAA). The project seeks to increase the number of working age residents in Walsall qualified to NVQ Level 2 and 3 and has been successful in doing so. Please click here to discover more.
WLLA developed and delivered the recent successful Walsall Bite Size campaigns which offer the opportunity for local residents to experience FREE learning taster sessions.also been a main driving force in getting adults throughout the borough back into learning, with huge success of the very popular Walsall Bite Size Campaign.

Of course, WLLA is also synonymous with the exemplar Walsall Lifelong Learning Awards, the Borough's premier awards ceremony for recognising learning and now in its 13th year! The WLLA Awards continue to go from strength to strength with a string of high profile speakers over the years.
